RS-BL (light) converter is designed for adjusting the communication interfaces between the detector and control panel, as well as for testing the detector’s functionality.
The converter is created to work with FMC-series detectors and Tribo-S garden protection system.
RS-BL (light) converts RS-485 signal to Bluetooth signal, enabling wireless connection with Android device.
The power source for RS-BL (light) converter is AA-type batteries or external power supply (8…30 V).
To wirelessly connect the Android device control panel with the detector, do the following:
– Connect the included FMC–RS cable to the converter “A–B” terminals (red wire – A, black wire – B)
– Connect the FMC–RS cable plug to the signaling device RS-485 socket
– Turn on the converter by pressing the power button
– Open Android application, search for device named RS 485-BL*** (serial number on device body) and establish connection.
