Ajax FireProtect 2 RB (Heat/Smoke)

Key features:

  • Smoke sensor (Smoke detection) – quickly detects smoke using a photoelectric smoke chamber.

  • Heat detection – triggers when the temperature exceeds a critical threshold (typically 64 °C) or rises rapidly within a short time.

  • CO version available – a model that also detects carbon monoxide (CO) is available: FireProtect 2 RB (Heat/Smoke/CO).

  • Battery powered – runs on two CR123A batteries, lasting up to 7 years.

  • Wireless connection – communicates with the Ajax Hub via the Jeweller protocol (up to 1,700 m in open space).

  • Built-in siren – loud alarm signal (over 85 dB), activates instantly when danger is detected.

  • Phone notifications – when connected to an Ajax Hub and the mobile app, the detector sends real-time notifications.

  • Easy installation – mounts with the SmartBracket mounting panel; no cables required.
