Ajax TurretCam HLVF (5 Mp) is a professional wired 5-megapixel IP camera that combines a motorised varifocal lens, hybrid illumination, True WDR and AI-powered object detection. The camera is designed for both indoor and outdoor use and is well suited to monitoring building perimeters, entrances, car parks, warehouses and other secured areas. Ajax defines the HLVF designation as Hybrid Light + Varifocal: the camera features both hybrid IR/white light illumination and a variable focal length lens.

The motorised varifocal lens lets you adjust the camera's focal length and zoom to tailor the field of view to the specific installation site. This gives installers greater flexibility and allows them to achieve the desired view without adjusting the lens by hand.

5 MP resolution delivers detailed video, while up to 25 frames per second ensures smooth monitoring of fast-moving events. The camera supports H.264 and H.265 video codecs and offers a choice of video resolutions and bitrates.

Hybrid Light technology combines infrared and white LED illumination. In standard night mode the camera uses IR illumination, and when needed the white light switches on to show a detected object in colour even in the dark. Illumination intensity is adjusted automatically to prevent overexposure of nearby objects.

Built-in AI video analytics detects and distinguishes between people, vehicles and animals. Combining motion detection with object detection helps reduce false alarms and keeps the focus on events that matter.

The camera has a built-in microphone as well as audio and alarm inputs/outputs for connecting additional audio devices and external security devices. Video can be recorded to a microSD card of up to 256 GB or to an Ajax NVR. The camera also supports ONVIF integration, allowing it to be connected to other video management systems.
