Ajax TurretCam HL (8 Mp/2.8 mm), white

TurretCam HL — overview

TurretCam HL is a compact IP security camera for indoor and outdoor use, suitable for homes, commercial premises and industrial installations.

Thanks to its hybrid illumination technology, which switches automatically between infrared and white light, the camera delivers crystal-clear images even in low light and at night.

Key features:

• Hybrid illumination: Automatically switches from infrared to white light when an object or motion is detected.

• Full-colour images: The camera provides full-colour footage that helps identify important details such as clothing, vehicle colour or other distinguishing features.

• Motion and object detection: Fewer false alarms, as the camera detects and records only relevant events.

• Excellent visibility at night and in low light: High-quality images at night and in low light, giving you peace of mind around the clock.

• Deterrent effect: The sudden activation of white light can act as an effective warning and deter intruders.

Flexible installation and control

The TurretCam HL camera is easy to install and manage. It can be controlled both on site and remotely via the Ajax apps. All recorded data is available on your chosen device and in an intuitive virtual video wall for quick monitoring of premises and events.

Recordings are stored either on an internal microSD card (32–256 GB, V30 class or faster recommended) or on a network NVR. The video stream is transmitted over a 100 Mbps Ethernet connection, and the camera supports standards such as ONVIF and RTSP, so it can be integrated into various video management systems (VMS), including third-party servers. TurretCam HL features a rugged metal housing (IP65 / IK08) that protects against dust, rain and tampering, making the camera suitable for outdoor use and for exposed or easily accessible mounting locations.

More than just video surveillance

A camera with AI support.
Ajax cameras offer AI-based object detection for efficient event recording and archiving. Users can configure recording to suit their needs, from continuous recording to recording based on motion or AI-detected events. The settings help capture critical events, such as a vehicle entering a car park or a person moving within a restricted area. This reduces unnecessary footage and makes reviewing recordings easier.
AI processing takes place directly on the camera, so no additional devices or subscriptions are required.
Users and security staff can easily monitor premises via their smartphone and receive instant notifications when motion is detected – no special security training required. Your browser does not support the video tag. Customisable video wall on smartphone and PC
Cameras can be managed both on site and remotely using the Ajax mobile and desktop apps or a local video management system (VMS). All visual data is available in a neatly organised virtual video wall. The Video Wall tab brings together the latest clips from the cameras, providing a complete overview of the monitored premises. Users can rearrange the sections to suit their monitoring needs. Your browser does not support the video tag. Full-colour visibility even in the dark
The hybrid illumination of BulletCam HL cameras switches automatically between infrared and white light based on object or motion detection. This ensures high image quality in low light and at night. The feature provides full-colour footage that helps identify clothing, vehicle colour or other important details. The sudden white light can also act as a deterrent, warning intruders that they have been spotted. Your browser does not support the video tag.
