AJAX KeyPad TouchScreen

• Wireless keypad with an LCD touchscreen for convenient control of your Ajax security system

• Authentication options: PIN code, contactless card (Pass), key fob (Tag) or smartphone via Bluetooth.

Security and authentication features

• Encrypted two-way radio communication with the Ajax Hub (Jeweller + Wings protocols) ensures a reliable connection at up to ~1700 m (in open space).

• Tamper sensor detects removal of the device from the wall and sends a notification.

• Protection against incorrect PIN codes – the device locks after several incorrect entries.

• Duress code – sends a silent alarm while the system "simulates" disarming.

Touchscreen and user interface

• 5-inch IPS display with a resolution of 480 × 854 px – a large, clear and responsive screen.

• Ambient light sensor and proximity sensor – the screen wakes automatically when someone approaches, and the backlight is adjusted automatically or manually.

• The interface resembles the Ajax mobile app, with a choice of light or dark theme in some cases.

Automation and alarms

• The keypad doubles as a control panel for automation events – up to 6 automation scenarios directly from the screen.

• Other features: Night mode, muting fire alarms, entry/exit delay notifications, jamming and connection failure alerts.

Power and battery life

• Batteries (typically 4 × AAA), with the option to connect an external 12 V power supply

• If the power source runs out, the device switches seamlessly to backup power and remains fully functional.

Compatibility and requirements

• Requires an Ajax Hub 2, Hub 2 Plus or Hub Hybrid control panel – and firmware version Malevich ≥ 2.16.1.

• Also compatible with the ReX range extender – for connectivity in areas with weaker signal coverage.
