Ajax DomeCam Mini HL (8 Mp/2.8 mm), black

DomeCam Mini HL: Overview

The Ajax DomeCam Mini HL is a compact wired IP surveillance camera for indoor and outdoor use, offering sharp images, smart object detection and reliable illumination in any conditions.

Key features

• Sharp images and multiple versions: the camera is available in 5 MP or 8 MP versions with a choice of lenses (2.8 mm or 4 mm), so you can cover a wider area or capture details in sharper focus as needed.

• Hybrid illumination: thanks to hybrid illumination (infrared + white LED), the image stays clear even in the dark. IR LEDs work in darkness, and when motion is detected, the white light switches on to reveal colours and details.

• Smart detection: the camera uses AI for object detection and can distinguish between people, animals and vehicles. This means you only get relevant notifications and fewer false alarms.

• Flexible recording and viewing: video can be recorded to a microSD card (32–256 GB) or a network video recorder (NVR). Live view and video archiving are also supported.

• Built for outdoor conditions: the camera has a high-quality housing that is water- and dust-resistant (IP65) and protected against tampering. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation.

• Audio + integration: a built-in digital microphone allows audio recording. The camera also supports PoE power and ONVIF / NVR connections, making it easy to integrate into an existing security or smart home system.

More than just video surveillance

A camera with built-in AI.
Ajax cameras offer AI-powered object detection for efficient event recording and archiving. Users can configure recording to suit their needs, from continuous recording to recording triggered by motion or AI-detected events. These settings help capture critical events, such as a vehicle entering a car park or a person moving within a restricted area. This reduces unnecessary footage and makes reviewing recordings easier.
AI processing takes place directly on the camera, so no additional devices or subscriptions are required.
Users and security staff can easily monitor premises from their smartphones and receive instant notifications when motion is detected – no special security training is required. Your browser does not support the video tag. Customisable video wall on smartphone and PC
Cameras can be managed both on site and remotely using the Ajax mobile and desktop apps or a local video management system (VMS). All visual data is available in a neatly organised virtual video wall. The Video Wall tab brings together the latest clips from the cameras, giving a complete overview of the monitored premises. Users can rearrange the sections to suit their monitoring needs. Your browser does not support the video tag. Full-colour visibility even in the dark
The hybrid illumination of BulletCam HL cameras automatically switches between infrared and white light based on object detection or motion detection. This ensures high image quality in low-light and night-time conditions. The feature provides full-colour footage that helps identify clothing, vehicle colour or other important details. The sudden white light can also act as a deterrent, warning intruders that they have been spotted. Your browser does not support the video tag.
