These are contactless access cards based on radio-frequency identification technology, commonly used in security systems, for example for door entry, in transport systems, in libraries or for clocking in at the workplace. The term “China chip” may refer to lower-cost or generic RFID tags/chips manufactured in China, which are widely used in a variety of budget solutions.

• Not compatible with 125 kHz readers – for 13.56 MHz devices only.
