Shelly BLU H&T – smart Bluetooth humidity and temperature sensor

Device identification

• Device name: Shelly BLU H&T

• Device model: SBHT-003C

• Device Bluetooth ID: 0x0003

Short description

Shelly BLU H&T is a smart Bluetooth humidity and temperature sensor with long battery life.

Key features

• Long battery life

• Measures air temperature and humidity

• Dust and splash resistant

• Small, compact size

Applications

• Climate control: adjusts heating, ventilation and air conditioning according to room temperature and humidity levels to maintain a comfortable indoor climate.

• Mould and damp damage prevention: monitors humidity levels to prevent mould and fungal growth in basements, bathrooms and other damp rooms; if needed, the sensor can trigger ventilation or drying equipment.

• Alerts and notifications: notifications or alarms when temperature or humidity exceeds preset thresholds – helps prevent, for example, frozen pipes in winter or excessive humidity.

• Greenhouse optimisation: maintains a suitable microclimate for growing plants by adjusting irrigation and ventilation based on temperature and humidity levels.

• Improved safety: detects unusual temperature changes that may indicate a fire or water damage.

• Appliance control: dehumidifiers, humidifiers and fans can be controlled based on humidity and temperature conditions.

Connectivity

• Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)

User interface

Inputs: one button

• Short press: displays the currently measured temperature (°C) and relative humidity (%) and sends a button press event.

• Hold for 10 s: pairs the device with another Bluetooth device.

• Hold for 30 s: factory reset (only possible immediately after inserting the battery).
