Operating modes

Regular mode

The device broadcasts motion status, light level and battery level every time the motion status changes (either motion is detected or no motion is detected after the blind time has elapsed).
The blind time duration can be configured in the Shelly Smart Control app.

Beacon mode

The device broadcasts motion status, light level and battery level every 30 seconds.
Beacon mode can be enabled in the Shelly Smart Control app.
⚠️ Note: Battery life may be significantly reduced in Beacon mode.

User interface

Inputs

The device has one button (under the back cover):

• Press and hold for 10 seconds – the device pairs with another Bluetooth device.

• Press and hold for 30 seconds – factory reset (only possible immediately after inserting the battery).

• Double press – activates test mode. For one minute, every motion detection sends a signal and is indicated by a red flash.
