Akuvox R25K apartment building intercom door station, dark grey

Akuvox R25K – IP Video Intercom Door Station with Keypad and Ultra-Wide-Angle Camera

The Akuvox R25K is a compact IP video intercom door station that combines video calling, access control and multiple door-opening methods. It is suitable for apartment buildings, office buildings, private homes, gates and other controlled entrances.

The R25K features a 4 MP camera with WDR, which helps deliver a clearer image in varying lighting conditions. The camera's 150° horizontal and 150° vertical field of view provides wide coverage of the entrance area and reduces blind spots.

Convenient Communication with Visitors

The Akuvox R25K enables two-way video and audio communication over an IP network. The built-in microphone, speaker and echo cancellation help ensure clear communication between the door station and an indoor monitor or other device connected to the system.

The panel can be used at a door or gate where the user wants to see and talk to a visitor before granting access.

Multiple Door-Opening Methods

The keypad on the front of the R25K allows PIN code access. The built-in card reader supports 13.56 MHz and 125 kHz cards, as well as NFC with supported Android devices.

The door can be opened using:

• a PIN code;
• an EM card;
• a MIFARE card;
• NFC with a supported Android device.

Different authentication methods can be used according to the needs of the site and its users.

Two Relay Outputs

The Akuvox R25K has two relay outputs that can control, for example, two doors, a door and a gate, or other access control devices.

The device has two inputs for connecting external devices. These can be used, for example, to connect a door contact or an exit button.

Integration with Other Systems

The R25K runs on a Linux operating system and supports the SIP and ONVIF protocols. This allows the device to be integrated with IP intercom systems and compatible video surveillance solutions.

The panel features:

• Ethernet connection;
• PoE power to the IEEE 802.3af standard;
• RS485 interface;
• configurable Wiegand input or output;
• two relay outputs;
• two inputs.

Suitable for Indoor and Outdoor Installation

The aluminium front panel of the Akuvox R25K has a compact and neutral design. The IP65 rating allows the device to be used outdoors as well.

The operating temperature is –30 °C to +60 °C, and the panel can be installed either flush-mounted or surface-mounted (a surface-mount bracket is included; the flush-mount box must be ordered separately).
