Ajax Superior NVR H2DAI8PAC is a professional 32-channel IP network video recorder that combines high-quality video surveillance, AI-powered video analytics, built-in PoE and the Ajax Security System ecosystem.

The NVR supports up to 8 IP cameras and records video at up to 12 MP resolution. The built-in 8 PoE ports let you connect and power up to 16 cameras directly from the NVR, reducing the need for additional PoE switches and cabling. The IEEE 802.3af/at PoE standards deliver up to 25 W per port, with a total PoE budget of up to 200 W.

AI-powered video analytics

Superior NVR H2DAI8PAC supports AI-based object detection. The system can distinguish between people, vehicles and animals/pets, as well as detect motion and Line Crossing.

This helps reduce false alarms and makes video surveillance more practical – the operator can focus on the events that really matter. AI analytics can also be used with third-party cameras, provided they support the required ONVIF/RTSP functionality.

8 IP cameras in one system

The NVR supports up to 8 video channels and is compatible with both Ajax cameras and IP cameras from other manufacturers.

For integrating third-party devices, ONVIF Profile S/T/M and RTSP are supported. This means the NVR can also be used to upgrade an existing video system without having to replace all the cameras at once.

8 PoE ports – connect a camera with a single cable

The built-in 8 × PoE ports deliver both data and power to the camera over the same Ethernet cable.

Up to 48 TB of storage

The NVR has two SATA III drive bays, each supporting an HDD of up to 24 TB per bay. The maximum total capacity can therefore reach 48 TB.

The drives are hot-swappable, allowing the recorder to be serviced and drives replaced without interrupting the operation of the entire system. HDDs are not included as standard.

H.265 and H.264 video compression

The NVR supports H.265 and H.264 video codecs and Ajax JetSparrow technology. More efficient video compression helps reduce storage and network bandwidth requirements while maintaining high video quality.

4K HDMI output

The built-in HDMI output supports resolutions of up to 3840 × 2160 pixels, i.e. 4K UHD.

The NVR can be connected directly to a monitor or display for on-site live viewing, playback of recordings and system management.

Ajax VMS and remote management

The NVR is part of the Ajax video system and can be managed via the Ajax apps. The integrated video management system lets you view live video, recordings and events, and use video analytics features.

The Ajax system also allows video surveillance to be linked with security system events. For example, an alarm from an Ajax detector can bring up the feed from the corresponding camera, allowing the operator to quickly verify the event visually.
