Ajax ReX

Ajax ReX gives your security system the range it needs. This intelligent radio signal range extender lets you place your Ajax devices (motion, door and window detectors, sirens, etc.) further away and in sites with more complex layouts, such as multi-storey offices, detached houses, warehouses or industrial buildings.

Why choose ReX?

• Greater coverage: ReX can relay signals between detectors and the hub over up to 1,800 m in open space. By connecting one hub and up to five ReX units, system coverage can reach up to ~35 km².

• Fast and reliable alarms: alarms are delivered in just 0.3 seconds, even when ReX is relaying all device data.

• Autonomous control: ReX is compatible with all Ajax “hubs” and works together with them. If needed, ReX can take over system control when communication with the controller is lost, for example by activating a siren when a detector is triggered.

• Backup power and tamper protection: the device runs on 110–240 V mains power, while the built-in Li-Ion battery provides up to 35 hours of operation even during a power outage. ReX also protects security from being compromised: the signal is encrypted and the device detects tampering or signal jamming.

• Easy installation and setup: connect it to the hub, scan the device QR code, name the ReX and mount it on a wall/surface using the SmartBracket. No complex wiring or special installation required.
