Ajax ReX 2 gives your Ajax security system flexibility and reliable coverage. This intelligent wireless range extender lets you connect detectors or camera-equipped sensors even when they are located far from the hub or the site has a complex layout, such as a large house, a warehouse, a property with several buildings or a commercial office/hall environment.

• Long range and wide coverage – ReX 2 can relay signals between the hub and devices at distances of up to around 1,700 m in open space.

• Visual alarm verification and photo verification – Unlike the first-generation ReX, ReX 2 also supports photo verification (ideally with MotionCam or MotionCam Outdoor detectors, for example), which means that in the event of an alarm, not only the signal but also photos are transmitted, providing an important additional layer of security.

• Backup power and tamper protection – ReX 2 runs on 110–240 V mains power, while the built-in Li-ion battery allows the device to operate autonomously for up to around 38 hours during a power outage. • Easy installation and setup – Adding ReX 2 to the system is simple: scan the device's QR code with the Ajax app, test the signal strength and mount the device on a wall or other surface using the SmartBracket mounting panel. No complex wiring or special installation required.
