Ajax ReX 2 gives your Ajax security system flexibility and reliable coverage. This intelligent wireless range extender lets you connect detectors or camera-equipped sensors even when they are far from the hub or the site layout is complex, such as a large house, a warehouse, a property with several buildings or a commercial office/hall environment.

• Wide coverage and operating range – ReX 2 can relay signals between the hub and devices over a distance of up to approx. 1,700 m in open space.

• Visual alarm verification and photo verification – Unlike the first ReX version, ReX 2 also supports photo verification (e.g. with MotionCam or MotionCam Outdoor detectors), so when an alarm is triggered, not only the signal but also photos are transmitted – an important additional security measure.

• Backup power and tamper protection – ReX 2 runs on 110–240 V mains power, while the built-in Li-ion battery allows the device to operate autonomously for up to approx. 38 hours during a power outage. The device also supports tamper, jamming and physical intrusion detection, as well as data encryption that protects the signal against interference.

• Easy installation and setup – Adding ReX 2 to the system is simple: scan the device's QR code with the Ajax app, test the signal strength and mount the device on a wall or other surface using the SmartBracket mounting panel. No complex wiring or special installation required.
