Tiandy TC-C349V – wire-free 4MP Wi-Fi camera that lives on your window
The Tiandy TC-C349V 8ARA-4 is a compact battery camera with a built-in solar panel and a magnetic window mount. Stick it to the inside of a window, point it at the driveway, garden or front door, and it keeps itself charged from daylight – no cables, no drilling, no outdoor installation. It connects over dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), records 2K 4MP video to a microSD card and sends smart person/vehicle alerts to the Tiandy EasyLive Plus app.
Best for
- Flats and rented homes where you cannot mount anything outside
- Watching a driveway, parcel drop-off spot or back garden through a window
- Summer houses and cabins without mains power near the window
- Anyone who wants a camera running in two minutes with the app, Bluetooth pairing and a magnet mount
Why this camera
- Solar + 2800 mAh battery – a 500 mW solar strip on top of the camera tops the battery up every day. In Super Power-saving mode the battery alone lasts up to 40 days, in Smart AOV mode up to 15 days; USB-C charging (5 V, 10 W charger) is there for the dark months.
- 2K 4MP picture with F1.0 lens – 2560×1440 resolution, a bright F1.0 4 mm lens (86° horizontal field of view), WDR and IR night vision up to 30 m with the 850 nm illuminator.
- SMD 2.0 smart detection – the camera tells people and vehicles apart from branches, cats and headlights, so you only get alerts that matter.
- Smart AOV 24/7 recording – low-power “always-on video” keeps a continuous timeline on the microSD card (up to 256 GB) while still sipping power.
- Two-way talk – built-in microphone and loudspeaker let you answer the courier or warn off a visitor from your phone.
- Dual-band Wi-Fi – 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz 802.11 b/g/n/ac with WPA2 security; Bluetooth is used only for quick provisioning.
- Works with Google Home and Amazon Alexa – view the live stream on a smart display; Easy7 VMS support for larger installations.
What else you need
- A microSD card (up to 256 GB) for local recording – no cloud subscription required
- Wi-Fi coverage at the window (2.4 GHz or 5 GHz)
- Optionally a USB-C charger (10 W or more) for the first full charge
