Best 4G Security Cameras 2026: SIM-Card Cameras for Homes, Farms and Off-Grid Sites

No Wi-Fi at the cabin? No problem. A 4G security camera works anywhere with mobile coverage — just insert a SIM card and it streams straight to your phone. That makes 4G cameras the go-to choice for summer houses, construction sites, farms, boats, garages and any property without an internet connection.

We stock and ship every camera on this list from our warehouse in Estonia, so this guide reflects what we actually sell and support every day. Prices are correct at the time of writing.

Best 4G cameras 2026 at a glance

1. EZVIZ H9C Dual-Lens 4G+WiFi — best overall

The EZVIZ H9C is the camera we recommend first to most buyers in 2026. Two 5MP lenses work together: one fixed wide-angle lens keeps the whole yard in view, while the pan/tilt lens turns to follow whatever moves. You effectively get two cameras in one housing.

It supports both 4G (SIM card) and Wi-Fi, so you can start it at a site with no internet and switch to Wi-Fi later. Mains power means no batteries to recharge — it records around the clock.

Choose it if: you want the best mix of coverage, image quality and price, and you have a power socket nearby.

2. EZVIZ EB8 Pro 4G+WiFi 8MP — best battery 4G camera

No power at the site either? The EB8 Pro runs on a built-in battery and streams over 4G with the sharpest resolution in this list — 8MP. The pan/tilt head lets you look around the property remotely from the app.

For true set-and-forget use, take the version with the 8W solar panel — the panel keeps the battery topped up so the camera can stay out year-round.

Choose it if: there is no electricity at all — construction sites, plots of land, remote storage.

3. EZVIZ HB90x Dual Kit — best complete off-grid kit

The HB90x Dual Kit combines a dual-lens 4+4MP battery camera with an 8W solar panel in one box. Like the H9C it pairs a fixed overview lens with a moving pan/tilt lens, but here everything runs off-grid: 4G for data, solar for power.

Choose it if: you want the H9C concept but with zero cables anywhere.

4. EZVIZ H8C 3MP 4G — best budget 4G camera

At around 70 euros, the H8C 4G is the cheapest way to get a proper SIM-card security camera. It is mains-powered, pans and tilts a full circle, and uses the same simple EZVIZ app as its bigger brothers.

Choose it if: you need reliable remote monitoring at the lowest possible cost.

5. EZVIZ HB8 Lite and EB3 — lighter battery options

The HB8 Lite (4MP) is a slimmed-down battery pan/tilt camera, and the compact EB3 (3MP) adds colour night vision in a smaller body for under 100 euros. Both are good choices for a gate, terrace or storage shed where you check in a few times a day rather than record continuously.

6. EZVIZ EB8 Pro RANGER — best for hunting grounds and land

The RANGER edition of the EB8 Pro wears a camouflage shell and ships with the 8W solar panel. It blends into the forest edge, watches over land, machinery or feeding sites, and sends 8MP footage over 4G.

7. Imou AOV DUAL — dual-lens alternative with solar

The Imou AOV DUAL matches the dual 5MP+5MP lens setup and adds a solar panel, running on 4G or Wi-Fi. A strong alternative if you prefer the Imou app ecosystem.

8. Hikvision TandemVu 4G PTZ — the professional pick

For business sites, the Hikvision DS-2SE3C404MWG-4G brings TandemVu technology: a fixed 4MP overview sensor plus a true 4MP PTZ in one professional housing. It is the camera we suggest for logistics yards, solar parks and industrial perimeters where a consumer camera will not do.

How to choose a 4G camera: quick buying guide

SIM card and data. Any standard data SIM from an EU operator works — prepaid included. A single camera typically uses a few gigabytes per month depending on how much you stream and record to the cloud.

Battery vs mains. Mains-powered models (H9C, H8C, Hikvision) record 24/7 and never need charging. Battery models wake on motion to save energy — add a solar panel and they become fully autonomous.

Dual lens or single. Dual-lens models (H9C, HB90x, Imou AOV) keep a wide overview while tracking movement close up — worth the extra money for yards and driveways.

Storage. All models here record to a microSD card locally, cloud subscriptions are optional.

FAQ

Does a 4G camera need an internet connection at the property?
No. The camera creates its own connection through the mobile network using a SIM card — exactly like a phone.

Will it work at my summer house in the countryside?
If your phone shows 4G signal there, the camera will work. For weak-signal areas choose a model with an external antenna position facing the nearest mast.

Battery or mains — which lasts longer?
Mains always wins for continuous recording. A battery camera with a solar panel is the next best thing and needs no cabling at all.
