Ajax TurretCam HLVF (8 Mp) is a professional wired 4K UHD IP security camera that combines high 8-megapixel resolution, a motorised varifocal lens, hybrid IR and white light illumination, True WDR and AI-powered object detection. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, the camera is well suited to monitoring building surroundings, entrances, car parks, warehouses, production areas and perimeters.

The motorised 2.8–12 mm varifocal lens lets you adjust the camera's field of view and zoom remotely. This gives great flexibility during installation – the camera can be set up to suit the specific area being monitored without adjusting the lens by hand. Autofocus ensures a sharp image even after the field of view has been changed.

8 MP 4K UHD resolution (3840 × 2160 px) delivers detailed video at up to 25 frames per second. The high resolution preserves more detail when zooming into recorded footage and is especially useful where people, vehicles or other smaller objects need to be identified.

The camera's True WDR 120 dB technology helps preserve image detail in high-contrast lighting conditions. This is important, for example, near entrances, gates and windows, where very bright and very dark areas may appear in the camera's field of view at the same time.

For night-time surveillance, the TurretCam HLVF uses Hybrid Light technology, combining IR illumination up to 60 m and white LED light up to 40 m. The camera automatically adjusts the illumination intensity to prevent overexposure of nearby objects. White light also makes it possible to capture colour images in the dark when needed.

Built-in AI video analytics can detect and distinguish between people, vehicles and pets. The camera also supports motion detection and event verification, helping to reduce false alarms and focus on the events that really matter.

The camera features a built-in microphone with noise reduction and echo cancellation, as well as audio and alarm inputs/outputs. This allows the camera to be connected to other security and automation devices and audio to be used as part of the video surveillance system.

Recordings can be stored on a microSD card up to 256 GB or on an Ajax NVR. The camera supports H.264 and H.265 video codecs, ONVIF and Ajax's JetSparrow video protocol.
