Dahua NVR4216-EI 16-Channel EI Series IP Recorder
Dahua WizSense EI series IP recorder with 16 channels.
Performance: the capability of EI series recorders depends on whether AI is used and whether AI is camera-based or recorder-based. Recorder-based AI functions include face recognition, person identification, perimeter protection and Smart Motion Detection, SMD Plus. Camera-based AI additionally supports people counting, crowd monitoring, license plate recognition, queue detection and heat map generation. Recorder, live view and network bandwidth is 256 Mbps with AI disabled, or 180 Mbps when AI is enabled.
Camera inputs: up to 16 cameras with resolution up to 16MP.
Face recognition: a two-stage process consisting of face detection in the frame, FD, and identification of detected faces, FR. Both functions can be performed by the recorder or by cameras. Detection is supported by cameras from the 5 series and identification from the 7 series. Recorder AI can detect faces on 1 input at 12 faces per second, while camera-side detection is supported for 8 inputs. Recorder-side face recognition is supported on 1 channel at 12 faces per second for faces detected by the recorder and on 8 channels at 12 faces per second for faces detected by cameras. Camera-side face identification is supported on 8 channels. Up to 10 databases with up to 20,000 face images can be created. AI can record attributes such as age, gender and facial expression, with optional additional data such as birthdays, addresses and other information.
Perimeter protection: 2 channels using recorder-based AI, up to 10 rules per channel, or 8 channels with camera-based AI.
SMD Plus: intelligent motion detection for more accurate people and vehicle detection, 4 channels using recorder-based AI or 8 channels with camera-based AI.
Monitor outputs: 1 HDMI 4K and 1 VGA FHD output.
Video compression: Smart H.265+, H.265, Smart H.264+, H.264 and MJPEG.
Audio: 16 channels through cameras, plus 1 RCA input and 1 RCA output for two-way audio. Compression: G.711a, G.711u, PCM and G.726.
Alarm: 4 inputs and 2 outputs.
Bandwidth: 256/180 Mbps.
Power supply: 12 V DC 4 A power adapter. Power consumption up to 10 W without hard drives.
HDD: 2 SATA ports for hard drive installation.
Housing: metal 19 inch rackmount 1U enclosure, dimensions 375 × 284.3 × 53 mm, weight 1.51 kg. Operating temperature: -10°C to +55°C.
