U-PROX IP400 – IP Access Controller for OSDP Readers

U-PROX IP400 OSDP is an IP access controller designed for professional access control systems, supporting readers that use the OSDP protocol, such as the U-PROX SE series readers.

The controller operates over an IP network and can be used both on a local area network and over the Internet. It can manage up to 4 single-sided doors or up to 4 double-sided doors, offering a flexible solution for sites of different sizes.

OSDP – a More Secure and Flexible Reader Connection

OSDP (Open Supervised Device Protocol) enables two-way communication between the readers and the controller. Compared with a traditional Wiegand connection, it offers more options for system diagnostics, device supervision and secure data exchange.

U-PROX IP400 OSDP supports OSDP readers, including the U-PROX SE series readers.

Control of up to 4 Doors

The controller lets you build a variety of configurations:

• up to 4 single-sided doors;
• up to 4 double-sided doors;
• up to 2 turnstiles;
• OSDP readers on both sides of a double-sided door.

For example, a four single-sided door setup requires the controller, a battery, four locks, four readers and four exit buttons. For four double-sided doors, eight readers are used.

IP Network and Real-Time Configuration

U-PROX IP400 OSDP connects to an IP network, and the system can be used both on a local network and over the Internet.

Access rules can be uploaded to the controller on the fly, without having to stop the system. This simplifies the management of users and access rights and allows the system to be quickly adapted to the needs of the site.

Professional Enclosure and Power Supply

IP400 OSDP is available in a metal enclosure with a 5 A power supply. The controller can also be used as a standalone circuit board when the device is integrated into an existing enclosure or a dedicated technical solution.
