What is the Ajax HomeSiren?

The Ajax HomeSiren is a wireless indoor alarm siren that sounds a loud alarm and flashes an LED when a detector triggers the system. It is installed indoors to warn of dangerous situations and deter potential intruders

Sound and visual features

• Adjustable volume: 81–105 dB at 1 m, three levels

• Alarm duration: adjustable from 3 seconds to 3 minutes (or up to 15 min with newer firmware)

• LED indicator: shows the arming status; an external LED (3 V, 10 mA) can be connected

Communication and security

• Communication uses the Jeweller protocol (868 MHz) with a two-way, encrypted connection and frequency hopping, ensuring security and resistance to hacking

• Communication range up to 2,000 m (in open space)

• Built-in tamper button that immediately reports unauthorised removal

Power and battery life

• Powered by two CR123A (3 V) batteries, pre-installed

• Battery life up to 5 years, current consumption 70 µA, max. ~50 mA when the LED is flashing

Installation and setup

• Package contents: HomeSiren, SmartBracket mounting panel, LED connection cable, 2x CR123A batteries, screw kit and manual

• Easy to install: attach the SmartBracket to the surface, open the back cover, press the button inside and scan the QR code with the Ajax app

• Smart configuration: in the app you can set the volume, alarm duration, tamper response, disarm beeps, etc. .
