U-PROX PIR Cam Outdoor

Wireless outdoor motion detector with built-in camera

The U-PROX PIR Cam Outdoor combines an outdoor PIR motion detector, built-in camera, photo verification and active anti-masking in one complete security solution. The device not only detects motion in the protected area but also gives you visual confirmation of what happened when an alarm is triggered.

The detector is suitable for protecting private homes, commercial buildings, warehouses, industrial sites, car parks and other outdoor areas where it is important to detect a potential intrusion before the intruder reaches the building.

Key benefits

• Photo verification – in the event of an alarm, the detector sends up to 5 photos at a resolution of up to 640 × 480 px.
• Photo on demand – users can check the protected area even when no alarm has been triggered.
• Adjustable detection range of 3–15 m – lets you tailor the protected zone to the needs of the site.
• 90° field of view and two independent infrared sensors ensure more accurate motion detection.
• Two-level false alarm reduction helps distinguish human movement from other sources of interference.
• Active anti-masking – two separate infrared anti-masking zones detect attempts to cover the detector's optics.
• IR illumination enables image capture in low light and darkness.
• Radio range of up to 4800 m in open space.
• 256-bit encrypted two-way communication with jamming detection.
• Up to 5 years of battery life and the option of an external 12 V DC power supply.
• IP55 protection rating and an operating temperature of –20 °C to +55 °C, making the device well suited to Estonia's changeable outdoor conditions.
