What sets the HighMount version apart?

HighMount is a specialised version of the MotionCam Outdoor series, designed specifically for higher mounting, typically at 2–4 m, to provide wider coverage and avoid blind spots close to the detector

Key features

1. Motion detection + dual technology

• Alongside two independent PIR sensors, it also uses a K-band microwave sensor (24 GHz)

• Detection range: up to 15 m.

• Viewing angles: horizontal ~115°, vertical ~84–88°, providing wide coverage when mounted high

• Can be mounted at a height of 2–4 m

2. Photo verification – PhOD

• Like the standard PhOD, it can take photos:

  • When an alarm is triggered,

  • At the user's request ("Photo on Demand"),

  • Based on preventive scenarios or a schedule

• Photo resolution up to 640×480 px (HDR), max. 5 images per series .

• IR illumination ensures high-quality images in both low light and total darkness .

3. Communication and security

• Wireless communication via Jeweller (alarms, up to 1700 m) and Wings (photos); encrypted, jamming protection, tamper protection, fast response: alarm ≤ 0.15 s, first photo < 9 s

• Connects via the following hubs: Hub 2, Hub 2 Plus, Hub Hybrid, ReX 2 Extender

4. Design and power

• Enclosure: IP55 rating, hood included

• Power: 6× CR123A batteries, battery life up to 3 years; 12–24 V DC power can also be connected (with batteries as backup)

• Operating temperature: –25 °C…+60 °C, humidity up to 95%

• Dimensions: 224 × 137 × 98 mm, weight 620–1010 g (depending on mounting accessories)

5. Installation + use

• Swivel mounting bracket included

• Features anti-masking and tamper protection, plus jamming detection

• Firmware updates are delivered over the air (OTA) – new features without any intervention on site .
