Tiandy TC-R3108 – plug-and-play recorder for up to 8 PoE cameras
The TC-R3108 is the recorder that makes a small Tiandy system simple: plug up to eight PoE cameras straight into the back (48 W total budget, up to 30 W on a single port), fit one hard drive of up to 8 TB, connect a monitor over HDMI or VGA and you are recording. S+265 compression roughly halves storage compared with H.264, ONVIF Profile S/T lets you mix in third-party cameras, and the EasyLive Plus app gives you live view and playback on your phone via P2P – no port forwarding.
Best for
- Homes and small shops with 4–8 PoE cameras – one box, one power supply
- Pairing with Tiandy TC-C38WS / TC-C388V bullets and other ONVIF cameras
- Installers who need a quiet, compact recorder (201×202×43 mm) that fits on a shelf
Why this recorder
- 8 PoE ports built in – IEEE 802.3af/at, 48 W budget, 10/100 Mbps per port; cameras are powered and configured automatically.
- Up to 6MP cameras – 60 Mbps incoming bandwidth, 1× 6MP or 4× 1080p live decoding, 4-channel synchronous playback.
- Storage – 1 SATA bay, up to 8 TB; schedule, alarm and smart-storage recording modes; USB backup.
- AI by camera – smart alarms and human/vehicle classification from Tiandy AI cameras are recorded and searchable.
- Outputs and apps – HDMI and VGA simultaneously up to 1920×1080, Easy7 VMS (Windows/macOS), EasyLive Plus (Android/iOS), web browser access, 10 UI languages.

- A surveillance-grade 3.5″ SATA HDD (up to 8 TB) – not included
- Cat5e/Cat6 patch cables to the cameras and an HDMI or VGA monitor for local viewing
