What is Ajax HomeSiren?

Ajax HomeSiren is a wireless indoor alarm siren that emits a loud sound signal and flashes an LED light when a detector activates the system. It is installed indoors to alert to dangerous situations and deter potential intruders

Sound and Visual Features

• Adjustable volume: 81–105 dB at 1 m distance, three levels

• Sound duration: adjustable from 3 seconds to 3 minutes (or up to 15 minutes with newer firmware)

• LED indicator: indicates standby status; external LED can be connected (3 V, 10 mA)

Communication and Security

• Communication operates via Jeweller protocol (868 MHz), with two-way and encrypted connection, frequency hopping – ensures security and resilience against hacking

• Communication range up to 2,000 m (in open area)

• Built-in anti-tamper button that alerts immediately to improper removal

Power Supply and Battery Life

• Powered by two CR123A (3 V) batteries, pre-installed

• Battery life up to 5 years, power consumption 70 µA, for flashing LED max. ~50 mA

Installation and Configuration

• Included: HomeSiren, SmartBracket mounting plate, LED connection cable, 2x CR123A batteries, screw set with instructions

• Easy to install – attach SmartBracket to surface, open rear cover, press button inside, scan QR code with Ajax app

• Smart configuration – in the app you can set sound volume, duration, tamper response, disarm sounds, etc. .
