What is Ajax HomeSiren?

Ajax HomeSiren is a wireless indoor alarm siren that produces a loud sound signal and flashes an LED light when a detector activates the system. It is installed indoors to alert of dangerous situations and deter potential intruders

Audio and visual features

• Adjustable volume: 81–105 dB at 1 m distance, three levels

• Sound duration: adjustable from 3 seconds to 3 minutes (or up to 15 min with newer firmware)

• LED indicator: indicates standby status; possible to connect external LED (3 V, 10 mA)

Communication and security

• Communication uses the Jeweller protocol (868 MHz), with two-way and encrypted connection, frequency hopping – ensures security and resistance to hacking

• Communication range up to 2 000 m (in open area)

• Built-in tamper button that alerts immediately to improper removal

Power and battery life perspective

• Powered by two CR123A (3 V) batteries, pre-installed

• Battery life up to 5 years, power consumption 70 µA, with flashing LED max. ~50 mA

Installation and configuration

• Easy to install – attach SmartBracket to surface, open back cover, press the button inside, scan QR code with Ajax app

• Smart configuration – in the app you can set sound volume, duration, tamper response, disarming sounds, etc .
