EVOHD+ is an enhanced version of the EVOHD with two SERIAL ports that communicate twice as fast as the previous version. SERIAL 1 is the primary channel and SERIAL 2 is the backup channel for event reporting. The + series panels offer a safer and faster firmware upgrade because they keep the previous firmware in memory in case the upgrade should fail. The hardware and power section have been updated and adapted with gel batteries in mind. BUS module management has been changed so that after scanning the modules they are not deleted from the system immediately but placed in quarantine. This ensures that, if necessary, the state prior to the scan can be restored. The EVOHD+ panel has a maximum permitted AUX (power output) current of 2.5A (75VA transformer required) and battery deep-discharge protection.
