The sensor is a bistatic microwave sensor consisting of a transmitter and receiver. The sensor’s working principle is based on generating an electromagnetic field in the space between the transmitter and receiver. This field creates a spatial detection zone whose shape resembles an elongated rotating ellipsoid. When an intruder crosses the detection zone, the sensor registers changes in the field.
