Akuvox R28A phone call panel with screen, card reader and keypad

Akuvox R28A is a practical phone call panel for everyday use in apartment buildings, office buildings and industrial facilities. The device is designed with long-term use in mind: durable aluminium front panel, stable operation even in very harsh weather conditions and easy integration with existing access control systems.

R28A makes entry into the building convenient and clear. A 4.3-inch color display and wide-angle camera allow visual identification of visitors, two-way IP-based audio communication with echo cancellation ensures clear communication even in noisy environments. The 2 MP camera with automatic lighting operates reliably both day and night.

An important advantage is support for Induction Loop Amplifier, which makes the device suitable for people with hearing impairment who use hearing aids. This makes R28A a suitable solution for public buildings and residential buildings where access must be convenient for all users.

The device supports multiple access and integration options: numeric keypad with additional buttons, RFID and NFC card reader (13.56 MHz and 125 kHz), Wiegand and RS485 interfaces, multiple inputs and relay outputs for controlling doors, gates or other devices. PoE (IEEE 802.3af) allows power and data transmission over a single Ethernet cable, which simplifies installation and reduces cabling.

R28A is designed for outdoor conditions. IP65 protection class, tamper alarm and operating range of –40 °C to +55 °C ensure reliable operation even in Estonian climate and industrial environments. Installation is flexible: both flush-mounted and surface-mounted.
