Ajax ReX

Ajax ReX gives your security system the coverage you need. This intelligent radio signal extender allows you to place your Ajax devices (motion detectors, door detectors, window detectors, sirens, etc.) in more remote and complex locations – such as multi-storey offices, detached houses, warehouses or production buildings.

Why choose ReX?

• Greater coverage – ReX can transmit a signal between the detectors and the central unit in an open area of up to 1 800 m. By connecting a single hub and up to five ReXs, the system can cover up to ~35 km².

• Fast and reliable alarms – an alarm is transmitted in just 0.3 seconds, even if ReX carries all the device information.

• Autonomous management – ReX is compatible with all Ajax “hubs” and works with them. If necessary, ReX can take over control of the system if communication with the controller is lost – for example, activate a siren when a detector gives a signal.

• Backup and sabotage protection – the unit runs on 110-240 V, but the built-in Li-Ion battery provides up to 35 hours of operation even in the event of a power cut. In addition, ReX security prevents compromise, the signal is encrypted and the device detects sabotage or signal jamming.

• Easy installation and setup – connect the hub, scan the QR code of the device, name it ReX, and mount it on the wall/wall using the SmartBracket. No complicated wiring or special installation required.

Ajax ReX is ideal if:
