General Info & Operating Principle

• Type: wireless indoor motion sensor that combines PIR infrared sensor and microwave radar (K-band, 24 GHz) – this dual technology effectively reduces false alarms

• Detection radius: up to 12 m, horizontal ~88.5° and vertical ~80°

• Response time: approx. 0.15 s after detecting human movement .

Accuracy & False Alarm Filter

• Microwave scan: after infrared detection, the radar scans the signal to eliminate noise (e.g., air currents, curtains, heat, ventilation)

• SmartDetect / SmartDetect + temperature compensation: software detects human movement while ignoring pets, sounds and light changes .

Pet Friendly

• Does not react to animals up to 20 kg / 50 cm height (values may vary slightly depending on installation and sensitivity)

• Adjustable sensitivity levels (high/medium/low) allow customization for different pet presence conditions

• Communication: operates with Ajax Jeweller protocol – encrypted two-way communication, frequency hopping, jamming detection .
