Ajax MotionProtect is a smart motion sensor that is part of the Ajax security ecosystem. It is designed for indoor protection and is able to detect the movement of people in a room while preventing false alarms, such as those caused by the movement of pets.

How it works:
MotionProtect uses passive infrared (PIR) to detect motion based on body heat. When a person moves within the sensor’s field of view, it sends an alarm signal to a central device (Ajax Hub), which notifies the user via a mobile app, SMS or audio signal.
