TurretCam HL – overview
The TurretCam HL is a compact IP security camera suitable for indoor and outdoor use – in private homes, commercial premises and industrial solutions.
Thanks to its Hybrid Lighting technology, which automatically switches between infrared and white light, this camera delivers crystal-clear image quality, even in low light and night conditions.

Flexible installation and management
TurretCam HL is easy to install and manage. It can be controlled locally or remotely via the Ajax applications. All recorded data is available on the device of your choice and available in an intuitive virtual video wall to quickly monitor rooms and events.
Recording is either to an internal microSD card (32-2 to 56 GB, recommended V30 class or faster) or to an NVR device online. Video is streamed over a 100 Mbps Ethernet connection, and the camera supports standards such as ONVIF and RTSP – so it can be integrated into a variety of video surveillance systems (VMS), such as third-party servers.
The TurretCam HL is built with a robust housing (metal, IP65 / IK08) that protects against dust, rain and sabotage, making it suitable for outdoor and open/easily accessible installation locations.

Ajax cameras provide artificial intelligence-based object detection, ensuring efficient event recording and archiving. Users can configure recording to suit their needs, from continuous recording to motion or AI-detected events. Settings help record critical events such as a vehicle entering a parking area or a person moving in a restricted area. This cuts down on unnecessary footage and makes it easier to review recordings.
AI processing is done directly in the camera, so no additional equipment or subscriptions are required.
Users and security staff can easily monitor premises via their smartphone, receiving instant alerts when motion is detected – no special security training is required.
Customizable video wall on smartphone and PC
Cameras can be managed locally or remotely using Ajax mobile and desktop apps or a local video management system (VMS). All visual data is available in a seamlessly organised virtual video wall. A video wall tab combines the latest sections from the cameras, providing a holistic view of the monitored space. Users can rearrange the sections according to their monitoring needs.
Full-colour visibility even in the dark
BulletCam HL cameras’ hybrid lighting automatically switches between infrared and white light based on object detection or motion detection. This ensures high image quality in low light and night conditions. The feature provides full-colour shots to help identify clothing, vehicle colour or other important details. The sudden white light can also act as a deterrent, warning intruders that they have been spotted.
