Communication and notifications<\/p>\n
Communication with the Ajax Hub works through the Jeweller protocol: two-way encrypted connection, frequency hopping and authentication provide reliability and resistance to interference, with range up to approximately 1700 m in open space.<\/p>\n
A low-battery warning is sent at least 30 days before the battery is depleted, through the app and the device LED.<\/p>\n
Alarm functions<\/p>\n
The built-in 85 dB siren at approximately 3 m uses different sound and LED patterns for smoke\/heat alarms and CO alarms.<\/p>\n
If one detector identifies danger, the sirens of all FireProtect detectors in the system activate within a maximum of 20 seconds, even if the hub is not connected to the internet.<\/p>\n
