• Performance – The performance of the recorder depends on whether or not AI is used, with camera-based AI and storage-based AI available. The Salvesti AI can provide SMD functions, camera based face detection and recognition, perimeter guarding is supported, as well as SMD functions, people counting and heat map. The machine has a bandwidth of 80Mbps for live monitoring and recording, 60Mbps over the network.
• Camera inputs – Up to 4 cameras with up to 12MP resolution.
• Face detection – This is a two-step operation – finding faces, or detecting them from the frame (FD) and identifying the detected faces (FR), or recognising people. Only camera AI and 4 channels are supported, cameras from the fifth series onwards can detect and cameras from the seventh series onwards can identify. With AI, age, gender, facial expression, etc. are fixed, and birthdays, addresses and other information can be added separately.
