Ajax ReX 2 – Signal booster for security systems

Ajax ReX 2 gives your Ajax security system flexibility and a secure coverage area. This intelligent wireless signal splitter allows you to connect detectors, or sensors with cameras, even if they are located far away from the central monitoring station, or if the location of the object is complex – for example in a large building, warehouse, multi-building estate or corporate office/hall environment.

Large coverage and operating range – ReX 2 can transmit a signal between the hub and the equipment up to about 1 700 m in open area.
Visual alarm control and image capture – Unlike the first version of ReX, ReX 2 also supports image capture (preferably in combination with (e.g.) MotionCam or MotionCam Outdoor detectors), which means that in the event of an alarm, not only the signal but also the photos are transmitted – an important additional security measure.
Fast and reliable alarms – Alarms are transmitted in just 0.3 seconds.
Backup and sabotage protection – ReX 2 runs on 110-240 V, but the built-in Li-ion battery allows the unit to operate autonomously for up to around 38 hours in the event of a power failure. In addition, the unit supports sabotage, jamming and physical intrusion detection, as well as information security encryption to protect against signal interference.
Easy installation and setup – Connecting the ReX 2 to your system is simple: scan the QR code of the device with the Ajax app, test the signal strength and mount the device on the wall/wall using the SmartBracket plate. No complex wiring or special installation is required.
Suitable for large and complex sites – By connecting a single hub and up to five ReXs, the total system coverage can reach several hectares/ square kilometres – ideal for multi-building estates, large private houses, warehouses or industrial buildings.
