EN54 Internal Battery (72 h) is a rechargeable Li-ion battery that provides at least 72 hours of autonomous operation of EN54 class fire appliances (EN54 Fire Hub Jeweller or Fire ReX Jeweller) in case of power failure.

Installation, loading and maintenance

• The battery must only be installed in the corresponding EN54 system (Hub or ReX) – even if external mains power is available, a battery solution is required in all cases.

• The battery does not require any separate maintenance or monitoring of the charge level – it is automatically charged when the system is on mains power.

• For long term storage, it is recommended to keep the battery at a maximum of +30 °C to slow down the self-ageing of the battery.
