The device is powered by 2 \u00d7 CR123A batteries, providing up to 7 years of battery life for the RB version.<\/p>\n
Low battery warning is sent at least 30 days before the critical level, through the app and LED\/sound notification.<\/p>\n
Overall device lifetime is up to 10 years, after which sensitivity may decrease and replacement is recommended.<\/p>\n
Connectivity and security<\/p>\n
Communicates with the Ajax Hub using the Jeweller protocol, with maximum radio range up to approximately 1700 m in open area.<\/p>\n
Encrypted two-way communication and frequency hopping protect the device against signal interference.<\/p>\n
Anti-tamper protection: tamper warning when removed, with app notification and yellow LED indication.<\/p>\n

Testing and maintenance<\/p>\n
The Test\/Mute button can be used manually, or remote testing can be started from the app. The device checks its own operation and can mute the alarm when needed.<\/p>\n
Testing is recommended monthly or more often according to local regulations.<\/p>\n
