AJAX KeyPad TouchScreen

• Wireless LCD touchscreen keypad for convenient management of the Ajax security system.

• Authentication options: PIN code, contactless card (Passport), key fob (Tag) or smartphone via Bluetooth.

Security and authentication features

• Encrypted two-way radio communication with the Ajax Hub (Jeweller + Wings protocols) ensures reliable connection up to ~1700 m (open area).

• The Tamper sensor detects and alerts when the device is removed from the wall.

• Incorrect PIN protection – the device locks up if multiple incorrect PINs are entered.

• Hidden (duress) code – possibility to send an alarm by default and have the system “simulate” a disarming.

Screen and user interface

• 5-inch diagonal IPS screen with 480 × 854 px resolution – large, clear and responsive.

• Ambient light and proximity sensor – the screen automatically lights up when the device is near and the backlight is automatically or manually adjusted.

• The user interface is reminiscent of the Ajax mobile app, with a choice of white or dark theme in some cases.

Automation and malfunctions

• The keypad works directly as an automation event control panel – up to 6 automation scenarios directly from the screen.

• Other features: night mode operation, fire alarm silencing, entry-exit delay notifications, jamming and connection failure.

Power supply and lifetime

• Batteries (usually 4 × AAA), with the possibility of connecting an external 12 V power supply.

• In the event of an empty battery, the device will switch smoothly to standby power and maintain functionality.

Compatibility and requirements

• Requires Ajax Hub 2, Hub 2 Plus or Hub Hybrid Hub – and software version Malevich ≥ 2.16.1.

• Also compatible with ReX signal splitter – connectivity in poorer distribution conditions.
