What is the PhOD model?

PhOD (Photo on Demand) means that the camera can also take photos manually or automatically, not only when an alarm is triggered: Photo on Demand, Photo by Scenario, Photo by Schedule – if these settings are activated.

Main technical features:

• Motion detection:

  • 2 × PIR sensors, LISA SmartDetect algorithm (two-step – correlation and spectral analysis to staggeringly reduce false alarms)

  • Range of coverage: adjustable from 3-15 m

  • Horizontal coverage ~90°; on camera ~105° × 50°

  • Pets (≤ 80 cm) will be ignored if the sensor is correctly installed.

• Photo attachment:

  • Image quality: 1 to 5 images in 320×176 px or 1 to 3 images in 640×352 px.

  • IR- LED ensures shooting in both dark and low light.

  • Photo reaches the app: 320×176 px approx 9 s, 640×352 px approx 20 s

• Communication and security:

  • Two radio transmitters: Jeweller for alarms (compatibility with Hub 2, 2 Plus, Hybrid and ReX2 remote), Wings for photo transmission up to 1700 m in open area.

  • Anti-masking (sensor masking/concealment), tamper (removal from base), encrypted secure connection.

• Food and the environment:

  • Power supply: 4 × CR123A, 3 years battery life (2.5 years if “Entry Delay” included).

  • Operating temperature: -25…+60 °C, max. max. humidity 95 %.

• Installation:

  • Installation height usually 0.8-1.3 m; convenient to mount on SmartBracket base.

Additional user experience

• Manual photo retrieval has a new advantage: you can get a picture of the current situation even if the alarm is not triggered.

• The camera is not CCTV: the images come only in pre-defined conditions, not real-time streaming.

• Correct height/angle is important when installing – incorrect positioning can reduce effective detection range.
