• Capabilities • The capabilities of EI series recorders depend on the use or non-use of AI. Camera-based AI and recorder-based AI. Recorder-based functions include face detection, human identification, perimeter protection, and Smart Motion Detection (SMD Plus). Camera-based AI additionally supports people counting, crowd monitoring, ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition), traffic jam detection, and heat map generation. Machine bandwidth for recording, live monitoring, and network access is 256Mbps when AI is off. When AI is in use, it is 180Mbps.
• Camera Inputs • Up to 16 cameras with resolutions up to 16MP
• Face Detection • This is a two-stage process: detecting faces within a frame (FD) and identifying detected faces (FR), i.e., recognizing individuals. Both operations can be performed by the recorder and the camera; cameras from the fifth series onwards can detect, and from the seventh series onwards can identify. The recorder’s AI can detect faces on one input (12 faces per second), while camera-side detection is supported for 8 inputs. The recorder’s face identification capability is one channel at 12 faces per second for faces detected by itself, and 8 channels at 12 faces per second for faces detected by cameras. Camera-side identification is supported for 8 channels. A maximum of 10 databases can be created, storing up to 20,000 face images. AI can fixate age, gender, facial expression, and other conditions; birthdays, addresses, and other information can be added separately.
• Perimeter Protection • 2 channels with recorder-based AI, up to 10 rules per channel; 8 channels with camera-based AI.
• SMD Plus • Smart Motion Detection for more accurate detection of cars and people: 4 channels with recorder-based AI, 8 channels with camera-based AI.
