The Ajax FireProtect 2 RB (CO) is a wireless carbon monoxide (CO) detector, powered by replaceable CR123A batteries (“RB” version), which provide up to 5-7 years of operation, depending on settings.
The detector is compatible with Ajax Hub (Hub, Hub Plus, Hub 2, etc.) and can also work independently without a central unit.

The device is activated according to the cumulative CO level:

>50 ppm (~0.005 %) – alarm within 90 min
-
>100 ppm (~0,01 %) – alarm within 40 min
-
>300 ppm (~0,03 %) – alarm within 3 min
If CO falls below 50 ppm within one minute, alarm stops.

Sensor lifetime: 10 years – after that the device needs to be replaced.
Alarm and connection functions

Built-in siren with ~85 dB volume (~3 m distance), which sounds an alarm and can be silenced with the Test/Mute button.

Interconnected alarm: if one FireProtect detector detects an alarm from data activity, the sirens of all detectors in the system will be activated within approx. 20 seconds – even in offline mode (requires appropriate firmware version).

Communication range up to ~1 700 m in open field conditions; works with other Ajax devices (ReX, ReX 2 compatible).
