General information & how it works

• Type: wireless indoor motion sensor combining PIR infrared sensor and microwave radar (K-band, 24 GHz) – this dual technology effectively reduces false alarms.

• Detection radius: up to 12 m, horizontal ~88.5° and vertical ~80°.

• Response time: approx. 0.15 s after detection of human movement.

Accuracy & false positives filter

• Microwave scan: after infrared detection, the radar scans the signal to eliminate noise (e.g. air currents, curtains, heat, ventilation).

• SmartDetect/SmartDetect + temperature compensation: the software detects human movement by ignoring animals, thermal sounds and light changes.

Pet-friendliness

• Not reactive to animals up to 20 kg / 50 cm height (values may vary slightly depending on installation and sensitivity).

• Configurable sensitivity levels (high/medium/low) allow to adapt to the different conditions of presence of pets.

Communication and security

• Communication: works with the Ajax Jeweller protocol – encrypted two-way communication, frequency hopping, jamming detection.

• Communication range: up to ~1 200-1 700 m in open space (depending on restrictions)

• Integration with other systems: can also be connected to third-party control centres via ocBridge Plus or uartBridge.

Food & working time

• Battery: 1 × CR123A, pre-installed; battery life up to 5 years

• Battery status can be monitored in the app, low battery alerts are sent in advance.

• Recommended installation height: ~2.4 m – ensures best coverage and correct animal ignition point.

• Attachment: SmartBracket – easy installation and QR code linking to the app.

• Sabotage protection: tamper button, including test resistance and device with autodiagnostics – reports removal or sabotage.
