What is Ajax HomeSiren?

The Ajax HomeSiren is a wireless indoor alarm siren that emits a loud beep and flashes an LED light when a detector activates the system. It is installed indoors to warn of dangerous situations and to deter potential intruders.

Sound and visual characteristics

• Adjustable volume: 81-105 dB at 1 m distance, three levels.

• Sound length: adjustable from 3 seconds to 3 minutes (or up to 15 min with newer firmware).

• LED indicator: indicates the on-mode; external LED (3 V, 10 mA) can be connected.

Communication and security

• Communication works via Jeweller protocol(868 MHz), two-way and encrypted connection, with frequency hopping – ensuring security and resistance to hacking.

• Communication range up to 2 000 m (free area)

• Built-in anti-sabotage button (tamper), which immediately notifies of unsuccessful removal.

Power and lifetime perspective

• Powered by two CR123A (3 V) batteries, pre-installed.

• Battery life up to 5 years, current consumption 70 µA, max. current consumption for flashing LED. ~50 mA

Installation and setup

• Comes with: HomeSiren, SmartBracket mounting plate, LED connecting cable, 2x CR123A batteries, set of screws with instructions.

• Easy to install – attach SmartBracket to surface, open back cover, press inside button, scan QR code with Ajax app.

• Smart setup – in the app, you can set sound volume, length, tamper response, disarm sounds, etc.
